Irritable Bowel Syndrome: Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a common condition among people that damages the digestive system. It has the symptoms of stomach cramps, diarrhea, constipation, and bloating. Esophageal Cancer: Esophageal Cancer is cancer that occurs in the esophagus – a long hollow tube that runs from your throat to stomach. The function of the esophagus helps you to swallow the food from the back of your throat your stomach to be digested.

Cancer starts at the inner layer of the esophagus and later spread throughout the other layers of the esophagus.

Causes:

Like other cancer, it is still unknown what the cause of esophageal cancer is. It is said to be abnormalities in the DNA of cells that relates to the esophagus.  It will accumulate and causes tumors.

Symptoms:

·       Weight loss

·       Coughing Hoarseness

·       Swallowing

·       Indigestion

·       Vomiting

·       Pressure or burning in the chest

·       Pain behind the breastbone or throat.

Treatment:

There are six types of treatment of esophageal cancer:

·       Surgery

·       Radiotherapy

·       Chemotherapy

·       Laser therapy

·       Chemoradiation Therapy

·       Electrocoagulation

What is Endoscopy?

An Endoscopy is a procedure uses in medicine to look inside the body. This procedure uses an endoscope to examine the interior of a hollow organ or cavity to the body.

It is a flexible tube with a light camera attached to it. Furthermore, your doctor can view pictures of your digestive tract on a color TV monitor.
